Valley Cooperative is a wholesale bakery distributor founded in 1949 that serves nearly 1,500 customers and operates a 280,000+ sq. ft. warehouse. Facing a supplier sunsetting its software, a patchwork of bolt-on systems, and the need for better mobile and e-commerce access for customers without immediate computer access, Valley selected VAI and its S2K ERP suite to replace their legacy systems and consolidate functions like mobile WMS, conveyors, demand planning, analytics, and eBusiness.

VAI implemented its S2K ERP along with VAI Mobile, VAI Analytics (IBM Cognos-powered dashboards), and VAI eCommerce running on IBM Power Systems, plus integrations with RoadNet/Omnitracs and third-party logistics portals. The solution delivered next-day data visibility, picker productivity boards, automated shorting workflows, and a My Valley eCommerce site that enrolled more customers and sped order processing; Valley reports increased eCommerce adoption, faster order turnaround, and improved warehouse efficiency since deploying VAI.
