VAI WMS and analytics capabilities the right solution for Natural Choice Foods

Natural Choice Foods (NCF), a 25-year-old wholesale food distributor and private-label repacker selling to discount grocers, correctional facilities and retailers, struggled with manual, paper-based warehouse and quoting processes, slow reporting, and inventory inaccuracies. To modernize picking, repackaging and analytics, NCF selected VAI and its S2K suite (S2K ERP, S2K Analytics, VAI WMS and Smart Center) to replace Outlook-based deal sheets, paper pick lists and a legacy reporting system.

VAI implemented S2K and WMS capabilities including scannable pallet labels, RF guns, live dashboards and automated deal-sheet/picture generation, plus tailored analytics and manufacturing/order flows. The results: deal sheets and product images can be produced in seconds, reports run in ~5.1 seconds versus 10–20 minutes previously, and fulfillment accuracy rose from ~96% to 99.5%, with faster put-away and picking and ongoing collaboration between NCF and VAI to refine processes.
