Joshen Paper & Packaging, the country’s second-largest distributor of paper and packaging materials, faced rapid growth, complex multi-state tax and commission rules, and the need for real-time inventory visibility across nine distribution sites. To support web ordering, tighter inventory turns control, and enhanced financial reporting, Joshen partnered with VAI and its S2K Enterprise for Distribution solution (upgraded to version 3.7.3).

VAI implemented an upgraded, customized S2K 3.7.3 with a web portal, real-time multi-facility inventory views, consolidated and facility-level financial reporting, sales/commission tracking, and scalable site additions. The VAI upgrade improved inventory control and customer service (orders filled within 24 hours), enabled sales reps to verify availability before ordering, and drove measurable growth—adding about 100 new e-commerce customers—while simplifying management reporting.
