Sheralven Enterprises Ltd., a Commack, N.Y.–based manufacturer and distributor of fragrances with an inventory of more than 5,000 SKUs, struggled with an outdated, unreliable ERP and limited EDI that forced manual, note-driven order processing and slowed fulfillment. To modernize warehousing, sales and communications, Sheralven selected VAI and its S2K for Distribution solution (with EXTOL’s EBI module for EDI) to automate order handling and inventory management.

VAI implemented S2K for Distribution integrated with EXTOL Business Integrator, automating Excel order imports, enabling barcode scanning for verification, and adding shipment tracking via UPS/FedEx links. The VAI solution eliminated time-consuming manual entry, dramatically improved turnaround time, increased order throughput capacity, reduced labor, and improved customer service—allowing Sheralven to handle larger volumes and pursue expanded e-commerce business.
