MJS Packaging, a nearly 125‑year‑old wholesale packaging distributor, faced fragmented systems as it pursued growth through acquisitions and relied on manual account tracking in Outlook and paper. The company needed unified CRM, ERP and integration with its IBM POWER environment to handle orders from EDI, fax, calls and email and to streamline vendor purchase orders. To address this, MJS Packaging selected VAI and implemented the VAI S2K Sales Force solution.
VAI deployed S2K Sales Force in MJS Packaging’s VMware environment with an interface to IBM POWER7 and Riva for Outlook integration, enabling automated PO emailing, consolidated financials and intercompany eliminations across three companies in one system. The VAI solution delivered measurable outcomes: consolidation of three business units on a single platform, consolidated income statements and balance sheets, improved daily activity monitoring and sales visibility (month‑to‑date and six‑month views), and more efficient customer communication and CRM workflows.
