Dickson Furniture Leverages VAI to Enhance Customer Relationships by Streamlining Erp Processes

Dickson Furniture (including Dickson Furniture International and Dickson Furniture Manufacturers), part of Dickson Industries, faced complex global sourcing, manufacturing and distribution challenges—managing inventory planning, purchasing, logistics and forecasting across multiple countries—while aiming to improve customer relationships, lead times and cost competitiveness. To address this, the company selected Vormittag Associates to deploy its S2K Enterprise Resource Planning solution in a three‑phased implementation.

Vormittag Associates implemented the S2K distribution modules (phase 1 went live in May 2012) to integrate purchasing, inventory planning and logistics across Dickson’s supply chain, with subsequent phases planned for the manufacturers and a customer web interface. The VAI solution streamlined ERP processes, improved forecasting and inventory manipulation, and positioned Dickson to maintain better lead times and lower costs—helping enhance customer relationships while rolling out additional functionality by later in the year.
