Comax Flavors Implements VAI S2k ERP Solution to Integrate Manufacturing Operations

Comax Flavors, a Melville, NY–based leader in proprietary flavors technology, faced fragmented manufacturing, operations and accounting data that relied on multiple spreadsheets and batch processes. To centralize information and improve forecasting and production visibility, Comax Flavors turned to Vormittag Associates and its VAI S2K Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution.

Vormittag Associates implemented the S2K suite (financial, distribution, manufacturing, CRM and warehouse management) on IBM Power Systems to integrate Comax’s databases and provide a single real-time view of operations. The VAI S2K rollout sped data retrieval, improved the accuracy and timeliness of sales and inventory reporting, increased forecast accuracy and streamlined manufacturing management—putting teams “on the same page” and boosting productivity across the business.
