Habitat for Humanity Greater Vancouver is a regional affiliate that runs ReStore shops to fund affordable housing through donated building supplies and home goods. Faced with constantly changing inventory, limited pickup resources, and a need for better donor communication and donation tracking, the organization needed a scalable way to schedule and record donations across multiple locations.
They implemented Vonigo’s online booking for pickup scheduling, allowing donors to self-book, providing centralized records and donor reporting, and offering personalized service for corporate partners. In two years this approach drove a 145% increase in inventory, a 74% rise in average work‑order value, and growth in work orders (2,801 in 2016 to 3,945 in 2018), while eliminating many phone calls and improving overall donor experience.
