Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont, a nonprofit network providing job training and career services across North and South Carolina, needed a better way to manage donated-item home pickups. Their existing program relied on staff taking 50–60 calls a day, limiting daily pickups to one or two and creating an administrative bottleneck.
They implemented Vonigo’s donation pick-up software with online booking so donors could self-schedule pickups. Without adding staff, pickups rose to 10–13 per day, freeing admin time for other tasks and driving a substantial revenue increase—on pace to generate roughly $215,000 from the online pick-up program.
