City of Colorado Springs partnered with VOMO to run its annual City Serve initiative on October 6, 2018. Faced with coordinating 52 nonprofit partners across a city-wide serving day, the city needed a way to efficiently recruit, manage, and boost volunteer engagement—tasks handled through VOMO’s volunteer management platform.

Using VOMO’s tools for sign-ups, project management, and leader training, the event ran 98 volunteer projects with 171 trained leaders and engaged 3,685 volunteers who contributed 14,740 labor hours. The day concluded with a 1,500-person celebration and an estimated $355,825 economic impact, demonstrating VOMO’s measurable effect on civic volunteer mobilization.
