eXpress Badging, a B2B custom identification company founded in 1993 serving customers from small businesses to Fortune 100 firms, faced shrinking margins as buyers moved online and the business relied heavily on phone leads. Despite investing in online marketing, the site generated only 2–3 leads per week, and the owner wanted a partner who would deliver measurable ROI without taking full control of development.
Volusion took over design and SEO for eXpress’s “We Print” line (and later redesigned “You Print”), prioritized phone-call conversions, revamped lead forms and tracking, and launched a managed PPC “follow me” campaign. Leads rose to roughly 3 per day (tripling to quadrupling prior volume), lead quality improved, and actual profits grew by about 50%.
