Treefort Music Festival - Customer Case Study

Treefort Music Festival, the annual Boise event founded in 2012, was growing quickly and needed a better way to manage hundreds of volunteers. Volunteer coordinator Elizabeth Orcutt had previously handled sign-ups manually with Google forms, spreadsheets, and calendars, which became increasingly time-consuming as volunteer demand rose from about 220 to an expected 300.

VolunteerLocal provided its volunteer scheduling, management, and communication platform to streamline the process. According to Orcutt, VolunteerLocal saved “days and days of work” by replacing manual coordination, making it easier for volunteers to claim shifts and helping Treefort manage a larger festival more efficiently.
