Georgia Southern University runs “Operation Move-In,” a large, volunteer-driven effort to move more than 2,000 new and returning students into residence halls in just eight hours. Coordinating hundreds of volunteers across different groups and capturing group-specific information (IDs, prior experience, organization contacts) made sign-up and check-in a logistical challenge for staff.
