Case Study: Ohio Premier Soccer Club achieves streamlined volunteer scheduling and increased sign-ups with VolunteerHub

A VolunteerHub Case Study

VolunteerHub Achieves the Goals of Midwestern Soccer Clubs

VolunteerHub helped two large Midwestern soccer organizations — Ohio Premier Girls Soccer Club (Dublin, OH) and Greater Libertyville Soccer Association (Libertyville, IL) — solve a common problem: coordinating hundreds of parent volunteers for multi-day tournaments. Both clubs faced time-consuming manual sign-ups, tracking errors, and high administrative overhead managing shifts, no-shows and buy-outs for events that require 300–500+ volunteers.

By implementing VolunteerHub’s online scheduling and automated communications, the clubs moved to self-scheduling, centralized tracking and automatic reminders. Ohio Premier cut coordination to a one- to two-hour setup and about 10–15 minutes weekly, increased sign-ups and reduced no-shows; GLSA achieved more accurate tracking and greater volunteer accountability (while making pre-tournament work far more efficient), and both organizations saw fewer scheduling errors and improved volunteer engagement.
