Case Study: City of Dublin achieves automated server registration and online training with VolunteerHub

The City of Dublin is using VolunteerHub’s integration with Xcelerate Media’s Learning Management System to create a virtual and automated process for registering and training Dublin Irish Festival servers

The City of Dublin partners with VolunteerHub to manage servers for the Dublin Irish Festival, a three-day event that draws over 100,000 guests and more than 1,100 volunteer servers. As the festival grew, Dublin needed a scalable, automated way to register, train and communicate with volunteers, eliminate manual data entry, and provide a safe remote option during the COVID-19 pandemic.

By integrating VolunteerHub with Xcelerate Media’s LMS (SSO), the city automated registration and required online training before volunteers can be scheduled, saving countless management hours and reducing manual work. The integration improved training completion, streamlined reporting and communications, and delivered a supported, efficient solution that enhanced festival volunteer management.
