Case Study: Paul’s Place achieves improved volunteer communication and streamlined volunteer management with VolunteerHub

A VolunteerHub Case Study

Preview of the Paul’s Place Case Study

Paul’s Place is using VolunteerHub to create a streamlined, efficient, and optimized volunteer program, focused around building relationships

Paul’s Place is a Baltimore-based community organization founded in 1982 that provides meals, a food pantry, clothing, healthcare, job readiness and other services to Southwest Baltimore. The organization depends on a large volunteer base—more than 1,000 volunteers and over 6,400 service hours in 2019–2020—but was managing volunteers with manual data entry and phone calls, which made communication difficult and strained staff time as the program grew.

Paul’s Place chose VolunteerHub for its robust communication tools, landing pages, automated recruitment and data-entry, and comprehensive support resources. The platform streamlined volunteer workflows, improved outreach and post-opportunity follow-up, saved staff time for other priorities, and positioned the organization to more effectively recruit, engage and manage volunteers as the program expands.
