FCOB - Customer Case Study

The Max M. Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University, serving 620+ students across nearly 20 associations and more than 20 leadership programs, struggled to coordinate a growing calendar of meetings, speaker series, and events. Reliant on personal email for invitations and updates, students and administrators faced overlapping events, missed communications, and widespread complaints about scheduling confusion and administrative overload.

FCOB implemented VolunteerHub, a hosted web-based system that centralizes event posting, registration, attendance tracking, automated confirmations/reminders, capacity controls, and group-based access. The platform dramatically reduced administrative work and email volume, improved scheduling accuracy and planning (cutting waste on catering), boosted registrations, and gave organizers timely attendance data and better insight into student needs.
