The company wanted a low-risk way to manage energy use and improve cash flow across multiple properties and markets.

Voltus implemented demand response participation with site-specific curtailment plans, BMS integration, real-time metering, and VoltApp to monitor energy use and earnings across locations. The company enrolled in multiple programs, including PJM Peak Saver, Duquesne Act 129, and PJM Sync Reserves, and has saved and earned roughly $2.45M since 2017 while avoiding hundreds of thousands of dollars in peak capacity charges.
