Preview of the Central Bank of Armenia Case Study

Central Bank of Armenia builds a configurable 30-minute regulatory API platform with VOLO Global

The Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) faced a new regulatory requirement mandating that all foreign exchange operators in the country report transaction data every 30 minutes. They needed a robust and scalable infrastructure to ingest this high-frequency data and a system that was configurable enough to adapt as regulations evolved. To meet this challenge, CBA engaged VOLO Global to design and deliver a solution.

VOLO built NeX, a configurable API platform that reliably ingests the transaction reports and features an automated callback mechanism to request additional data from operators when needed. The platform was architected for high-frequency, scheduled workflows using Hangfire, MongoDB, and Redis. VOLO's solution provided CBA with a precise, institutional-grade regulatory tool that offers critical configurability, allowing the bank's staff to adjust reporting parameters without requiring further engineering work for each regulatory change.
