Case Study: Wild Waterworks achieves reliable, cost-saving bracelet-based POS with Volanté Systems

A Volanté Systems Case Study

Preview of the Wild Waterworks Case Study

Volanté Enterprise™ POS Makes a Splash

Wild Waterworks, a large 83-hectare water and adventure park in Hamilton, Ontario, needed an enterprise POS that could scale with their diverse operations, survive unreliable networks, and support new revenue streams like bracelet-based payments, gift cards and loyalty programs. They also sought a responsive partner to customize solutions that would simplify front-line operations, improve tracking of admissions and concessions, and reduce proprietary licensing costs.

They implemented Volanté Enterprise POS — a Java-based, peer-to-peer system with wireless handhelds and bracelet integration — which delivered uninterrupted operation, fast staff adoption and simpler menu management. The park gained real-time reporting for better ordering (lowering shrinkage and waste), monetized bracelets across food, retail and rentals, and realized significant cost savings and operational flexibility.
