Snow Valley Ski Resort, a family-oriented ski and snowboard facility near Barrie, Ontario, faced technology challenges typical of remote, high-volume hospitality operations. With 19 trails, multiple dining and retail venues, 35 registers across seven sites, and a mix of legacy systems, the resort needed a reliable POS that could operate in unstable power/network conditions and handle ID cards, time passes, guest and ski-school management, food & beverage, rentals and retail while reducing operational costs.
