Case Study: DTN improves communications and productivity with VoIPstudio

A VoIPstudio Case Study

Preview of the DTN Case Study

Weather group improves its communications and productivity

DTN, operating as MeteoGroup in the case study text, needed a flexible telecoms setup for offices of very different sizes, remote forecasters, and a new Canada office. A physical PBX did not make sense, and earlier VoIP services had caused quality problems, including issues in Manila where call quality suffered because the provider did not have an Asian datacentre.

VoIPstudio was first rolled out for about 8-10 users in Canada and then expanded to offices in England, Poland, Scotland, Ireland, Spain and France, with plans to reach around 500 users across Belgium, Germany and The Netherlands. VoIPstudio’s distributed data centres, central management, provisioning templates, localisation options, SSL gateway for the corporate directory, Follow Me and Ring Groups helped improve call quality, simplify administration, and support productivity, while also giving the company clearer cost visibility and just one bill.
