Case Study: Zenith Hygiene Group achieves major CO2 and cost savings with Vodafone and TomTom fleet management

A Vodafone Global Enterprise Case Study

Preview of the Zenith Hygiene Group Case Study

Vodafone and TomTom deliver cost and environmental savings to Zenith Hygiene Group

Zenith Hygiene Group, a UK cleaning and hygiene specialist, wanted to improve the efficiency of its 61-lorry fleet while reducing fuel use, costs, and environmental impact. Working with Vodafone Global Enterprise, it looked to fleet management technology from TomTom Business Solutions to gain better visibility into vehicle use and driver performance.

Vodafone Global Enterprise enabled TomTom’s tracking, navigation, and ecoPLUS devices through its machine-to-machine services, giving Zenith the data needed to manage fuel consumption, reduce speeding and harsh driving, and improve fleet operations. The results were significant: an estimated 597 tonnes of CO2 saved each year, a 28% reduction in fleet emissions, around £218,000 in annual fuel savings plus up to £50,000 in maintenance savings, and a return on investment achieved in just three months.
