Ryanair, one of Europe’s largest and busiest airlines, needed a telecoms partner that could match its scale and operate consistently across the many countries and airports it serves. Vodafone Global Enterprise was chosen to support Ryanair’s rapidly expanding business with reliable connectivity and communications services wherever the airline flies.

Vodafone Global Enterprise implemented an outsourced telecommunications setup for Ryanair, including 3,750 Apple iPads with an M2M connection, 8,000 secure handheld devices for in-flight sales, and managed telephony, Wi‑Fi, and WAN services across Ryanair sites. Built on a fully managed IP VPN network, the solution improved customer experience, enabled real-time information sharing, and delivered estimated annual savings of around £100,000.
