Mswipe, a payments company in India, wanted to help smaller retailers accept card payments at customers’ premises but needed a reliable nationwide connectivity partner to make its smartphone-based solution work effectively. The company turned to Vodafone Global Enterprise for support, using Vodafone Global SIM connectivity alongside the Mswipe app and Wisepad card reader.

Vodafone Global Enterprise helped Mswipe launch a card payment solution that connects the Wisepad to a smartphone via Bluetooth and sends payment details securely through Vodafone Global SIMs. The result was a rapid rollout to 7,000 merchants in the first year, with a target of 100,000 merchants by the end of 2016 across five countries, while also meeting industry regulations and enabling future loyalty and sector-specific payment applications.
