MooCall is an agri-tech company behind a tail-mounted calving sensor designed to help farmers predict when a cow is about to give birth. After developing the device, the company needed robust, reliable global connectivity with roaming support so critical calving data could be transmitted at the right moment, wherever the animal was located. Vodafone Global Enterprise provided the connectivity foundation through Vodafone IoT and the Vodafone Managed IoT Connectivity Platform.

Vodafone Global Enterprise implemented a managed IoT connectivity solution that lets MooCall monitor and manage devices from a single platform while maintaining seamless roaming across multiple countries. The solution enabled the company to expand into France, the Netherlands, and the US, and the sensor now sends alerts to a phone or app on average one hour before calving. Vodafone Global Enterprise’s global IoT reach has also given MooCall confidence to broaden its product plans into other sectors.
