Kingspan Sensor, a provider of measuring and monitoring solutions, needed a robust connectivity solution for its new global tank monitoring service. The challenge was to ensure its Watchman Anywhere Pro devices could reliably transmit data to customers anywhere in the world to manage fuel stocks and improve procurement. This required a global, scalable system to support the company's international ambitions.

The vendor, Vodafone, implemented its Managed IoT Connectivity Platform. This solution provided global SIM cards that could be activated upon device installation, giving Kingspan predictable pricing and centralized management. The results were significant growth, with 23,000 Vodafone SIMs activated and an expected 20% growth in 2016. Vodafone's solution enabled Kingspan to expand into new markets and sectors, including wastewater management and refrigeration.
