Process Technology transforms 23,500 SF headquarters with Vocon

Process Technology faced the challenge of updating their historic Willoughby headquarters, which consisted of outdated and utilitarian structures from a former used car dealership. They were committed to their community and sought a design that would reflect their progressive technological identity. The architecture firm Vocon was engaged to repurpose the site into a vibrant contemporary office.

Vocon's solution involved seamlessly melding two buildings into one cohesive 23,500 SF headquarters by recladding the exteriors and creating a new façade with sliding openings. Inside, they designed an open, light-filled space featuring a visible cleanroom, moveable partitions to organize workspaces, and social hubs like a café. The result was a modern workplace that promotes innovation, flexibility, and wellness. Vocon's work received multiple awards, including a 2021 AIA Ohio Merit Award.
