Great Lakes Cheese Company, a family-owned premier cheese manufacturer, had outgrown its existing facility and sought a new corporate headquarters that reflected its drive for excellence. They partnered with architecture firm Vocon for architectural design services to create a new campus that would focus on employee wellness and highlight innovation.

Vocon master-planned a 90-acre campus, integrating a new 55,000 GSF headquarters with a manufacturing expansion. The solution fostered a critical cultural connection between factory and administrative teams through shared outdoor amenities and walking trails. The design provided employees with choice through various collaborative settings bathed in natural light and featured a state-of-the-art Customer Innovation Center. Vocon's work resulted in a one-of-a-kind culinary experience for customers and earned multiple design awards, including a 2023 AIA Cleveland Merit Award.
