Fahrenheit transforms a 12,850 SF restaurant with Vocon

The customer, Fahrenheit, a restaurant by Chef Rocco Whalen, partnered with the vendor Vocon for an interior architecture and design service to relocate and redesign their establishment in downtown Cleveland. The challenge was to create a new space that embodied the restaurant's fiery name and culinary passion while facilitating an engaging guest experience.

Vocon's design solution celebrated the theme of heat and fire through materiality and lighting on the first floor, transitioning to a lush, reborn environment on the upper terrace. The layout provided open kitchen views, an intimate chef's table, and a restored historic bar in a private dining area. The results were highly acclaimed, with Vocon's work earning multiple awards, including a 2025 AIA Ohio Honor Award for Interior Architecture and a 2024 NAIOP Northern Ohio Interior Renovation Project of the Year.
