Calfee transforms its Columbus office into 18,500 SF of client-ready space with Vocon

The law firm Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP partnered with Vocon to redesign their Columbus, OH office. Their challenge was to create a flexible event space that would cater to their government clients while capitalizing on the office's dramatic views of the Ohio Statehouse.

Vocon's design solution pulled the reception area inboard to keep the atrium open for events and used the Statehouse dome as a focal feature. They incorporated a main conference room and an open café, utilizing materials like distressed walnut and porcelain tile. This resulted in a space that provides Calfee with the flexibility to entertain clients while reinforcing their connection to the government building both in design and practice.
