Case Study: Benesch creates a forward-thinking workplace transformation with Vocon

Benesch transforms 164,828 SF Cleveland office with Vocon

Vocon partnered with Benesch, a law firm, to transform its Cleveland office to support a growing team and their forward-thinking, people-first culture. The challenge was to design a contemporary workplace across eight floors in Key Tower that would reflect the firm's identity and address the needs of a post-pandemic work culture, all within a tight timeline.

The solution designed by Vocon created a bright, hospitality-inspired space featuring an inviting entrance, a café-bar, and touchdown cafes on each floor to support a flexible "work where you work best" policy. A connecting stair fostered mobility between floors, while warm woods and design elements inspired by Benesch's logo created a cohesive and welcoming atmosphere. The project was completed on time, a success attributed to the strong partnership with Vocon, and it subsequently won a 2025 IIDA iDesign Award.
