540 Madison, a Class-A office building in New York City, sought to reposition itself and add new amenities through a lobby refresh and the creation of a unique tenant space. The building's team partnered with Vocon to undertake this interior design and repositioning project, aiming to bring new life and a sense of fresh collegiality to the historic property.

Vocon's solution involved creatively transforming underutilized areas. They designed a boutique seating lounge in the lobby and introduced a hospitality counter with snacks and beverages. For the main amenity space, Vocon innovatively connected two floors with a hidden stair and restored the building's original water tower to create the "Water Tower Lounge." This solution provided tenants with a distinctive duplex conferencing and convening space, enhancing the overall tenant experience and modernizing the building's appeal.
