Working with VMware partner Mobius Partners, Rent-A-Center moved to a software-defined data center using VMware vSphere, vRealize Suite, NSX, vCloud Air and AirWatch, centralizing POS and automating provisioning. The company converted all stores in 60 days, reduced deployment times from weeks to minutes, improved security and PCI compliance, enabled secure mobile access for staff, and gained scalable disaster recovery by replicating data to the hybrid cloud.
