Preview of the Raiffeisen Bank Case Study

One of the Largest Banks in Russia Speeds Time-to-Market for New Services

Raiffeisenbank, the Russian arm of Austria’s Raiffeisen Bank International and one of Russia’s largest banks, faced growing pressure to accelerate time-to-market and boost developer productivity. Slow provisioning of compute resources—taking up to 10 days—was delaying testing, approvals and the launch of new financial products and services.

The bank implemented VMware vRealize Automation to create an internal cloud and self-service portal, automating resource provisioning. This reduced infrastructure preparation from about 10 days to roughly one hour, accelerated development cycles (around a 10% productivity gain), enabled rapid testing of new solutions, and is being scaled across development teams.
