Salon Service Group, a Springfield, MO–based distributor of hair salon products supporting about 30 retail stores across 11 states, was hamstrung by a legacy MPLS network that required carrier lines, offered little IT visibility or control, and made branch deployments slow and reactive—sometimes taking up to two months.
