Gallus Group, a St. Gallen–based supplier of label-printing systems with a global sales and service organisation, faced a fragmented IT landscape that made it hard to provide secure, always‑available access to company data, rapidly onboard temporary or new staff, and support mobile or remote work with a small IT team. Working with Business IT AG, Gallus centralised and standardised its client environment on VMware (expanding its virtual desktop estate to roughly 400 seats and upgrading server and storage infrastructure), replaced outdated endpoints and implemented 24/7 operational support.
