Helvetia built a software-defined data center using VMware NSX Data Center alongside vCloud Suite, vSphere and vRealize to enable micro-segmentation, centralized control and greater automation. Completed in 18 months to two active‑active Zurich data centers, the project reduced hardware maintenance, improved availability and scalability, let IT maintain more services with the same headcount, and accelerated time to market for new offerings.
