HolidayCheck, a Swiss travel ratings platform serving 20–30 million monthly visits, was struggling with an overloaded storage system, slow website and database performance, and the risk of losing customers and revenue. To address capacity bottlenecks and accelerate backend read/write operations and development, HolidayCheck turned to VMware vSAN (VMware Virtual SAN) to modernize its storage infrastructure.

Host Europe Group implemented VMware vSAN, integrating the hyper‑converged Virtual SAN into HolidayCheck’s existing vSphere environment with minimal new hardware.
