Bilfinger Industrial Services Improves Speed, Efficiency and Control with VeloCloud SD-WAN Solution from Videns

Bilfinger Industrial Services, a Netherlands- and Belgium-based provider of industrial maintenance and project services with about 1,300 employees, needed to deliver full WAN connectivity to dozens of customer sites within two days. Delays from traditional telco providers, new site builds and the need to support mixed carriers (MPLS, ADSL, 4G) made fast, secure and centrally managed connectivity a critical challenge.

After a PoC with Videns IT Services, Bilfinger deployed VMware SD‑WAN by VeloCloud across its WAN. The solution enabled rapid site rollouts, redundant mixed‑carrier links, centralized management and full traffic visibility. Results included faster, more stable connections, better user experience, remote configuration (23 router upgrades completed in 15 minutes), reduced onsite work and improved operational efficiency for the small IT team.
