Zambon Selects AirWatch to Simplify Enterprise Mobility Management

Zambon, a leading Italian chemical and pharmaceutical company with operations in 73 countries, wanted to “go mobile” for its field force but needed to protect sensitive corporate data and give employees secure access to documents and apps on iPads. The company also needed a way to distribute internal applications through an enterprise app store, which led it to evaluate enterprise mobility management providers and choose VMware AirWatch.

VMware AirWatch was implemented in about two weeks and now manages more than 260 iPads across Europe and Brazil using Mobile Device Management and Mobile Application Management. Zambon uses AirWatch to secure devices, remotely lock or wipe lost or stolen tablets, distribute public and purchased apps, and support three custom internal apps, while customizable profiles and a central admin console help IT deliver the right access by role with very little setup effort.
