YO! Sushi Enhances Customer Dining Experience with AirWatch EMM Solution

YO! Sushi, the UK sushi restaurant chain, wanted to speed up ordering and payments, improve order accuracy, protect corporate data, and manage mobile devices used in-store. To support its mobility initiative, the company chose VMware AirWatch Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM), including mobile device management and mobile application management capabilities.

With VMware AirWatch, YO! Sushi deployed 350 iPod touches for staff to take orders, send kitchen notes, and process payments, while also tracking lost or stolen devices with GPS, geo-tagging, and self-service tools. The solution helped reduce missed or misread orders, increased order fulfillment speed, improved supply chain planning through better sales data, and gave management useful insights into customer behavior and meal times, enhancing the overall dining experience.
