Safexpress Revolutionizes Logistics and Delivery Services with Devices Managed by AirWatch

Safexpress, India’s leading logistics and supply chain management company, wanted to bring mobility into its operations to improve internal processes, capture real-time delivery data, and give sales and operations teams better communication and decision-making tools. To support these goals, Safexpress looked for an enterprise mobility management solution and selected VMware AirWatch to manage tablets and other mobile devices across its delivery and logistics teams.

VMware AirWatch was deployed to manage Android tablets used by delivery personnel to capture real-time data, speed updates to the transport management system, and improve operational efficiency. Safexpress also praised the platform’s scalability, easy deployment of apps, updates, and profiles, and centralized device management, with enrollment handled smoothly by a small IT team. The company plans to expand the rollout to more departments and later use VMware AirWatch to manage handheld barcode scanners and support a future BYOD program.
