Groupe Thiriet, a French food processing and frozen products company, needed a better way to manage smartphones for executives and regional representatives. VMware AirWatch implemented an on-premise AirWatch EMM platform hosted on a virtual server, with remote installation, custom admin console settings, and smartphone profiles completed in just ten days. The solution integrated with Exchange, Active Directory, Juniper VPN, and certificate-based SSO, while also enabling app distribution and group-based access controls. Groupe Thiriet reported a simple, streamlined deployment, achieved its security objectives, and planned to expand the program to tablets for secure document access.
