Baker Tilly, a global accounting and advisory firm, needed a secure way to support employees using a wider range of mobile devices while maintaining strong authentication and data protection. To address this challenge, the firm turned to VMware AirWatch for mobile device management (MDM) to help manage non-legacy devices and meet client security requirements.

VMware AirWatch was deployed through a cloud option, enabling Baker Tilly to roll out the platform quickly and transition smoothly from trial to full-scale management. In under five months, the firm enrolled 450 mobile devices, integrated with internal certificate authorities, Active Directory, and Exchange 2010, and gained centralized visibility and control over device compliance, lost or stolen devices, and policies for corporate-owned versus employee-owned devices.
