GlaxoSmithKline, a global pharmaceutical company operating in 180 countries, needed a mobile solution that could protect sensitive client records and intellectual property while still giving employees access to corporate resources from anywhere. Using VMware AirWatch for MDM, MAM, and MCM, GSK deployed more than 31,000 iPads worldwide and enabled secure access to internal apps, documents, and content through features like AirWatch Content Locker and Active Directory authentication. The VMware AirWatch platform helped reduce data leakage, centralized global device management, and improved productivity by making it easier for employees to share information, serve clients, and update notes on the go.
