Giochi Preziosi Adopts AirWatch to Manage Mobile Apps and Digital Product Catalogs

Giochi Preziosi, a leading Italian toy manufacturer and distributor, needed a better way to manage its product catalogs and mobile app previews across a growing international sales organization. The company wanted to replace costly, time-consuming printed catalogs with digital versions that could be updated in real time, and it also needed a secure way to share beta versions of children’s mobile apps with partners and distributors. To address these challenges, Giochi Preziosi turned to VMware AirWatch and its mobile content and application management capabilities.

Using VMware AirWatch Secure Content Locker and AirWatch Mobile Application Management, Giochi Preziosi digitized its catalogs, remotely updated content on sales tablets, and distributed beta apps to internal and external groups through smart groups and the AirWatch App Catalog. The solution improved collaboration, sped up app testing and sharing, and helped the company save around €40,000 per year in printing and CD production costs. VMware AirWatch also enabled scalable, role-based device and content management for the company’s international teams.
