GA Communication Group, a Chicago-based marketing and advertising agency serving healthcare and pharmaceutical clients, needed a better way to manage its growing mobile fleet and support secure access to business resources. The company was looking for an enterprise mobility management solution to control VPN access to accounting and time entry systems, distribute internally developed apps, securely handle corporate documents, and provide a central view of devices. VMware AirWatch was selected to help address these needs.

With VMware AirWatch, GA Communication Group implemented secure content management, app distribution, BYOD support, and centralized mobile device management across 55 devices. AirWatch Secure Content Locker helped employees securely store and share documents, while the AirWatch App Catalog and MDM features simplified access to key tools like Google Hangouts and WebEx. The result was a major efficiency gain for IT, with device deployment and support effort decreasing by at least 50%, along with improved control over lost or stolen devices.
