DFS Galleria, the global luxury retailer serving travelers, needed a way to support mobile workstyles while keeping retail operations secure and compliant. With VMware AirWatch, DFS Galleria pushed email, contacts, calendars, and mPOS apps over the air to corporate and store devices, while also using AirWatch Secure Email Gateway to keep mobile email secure. The solution made enrollment and deployment straightforward, improved efficiency by helping the company manage approved devices and push apps quickly, and enabled shoppers to pay without waiting in line. While no hard ROI figures were provided, DFS said the result was a smoother shopping experience and higher customer satisfaction.
