Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira Secures Attorney Privileges with AirWatch MDM

Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira, a major Spain-based law firm with a global presence, needed to support a BYOD initiative for attorneys and administrators while protecting highly sensitive client information. As mobile device use expanded beyond BlackBerry devices, the firm required a secure way to manage multiple operating systems, enable mobile access, and maintain strict data protection across email, contacts, calendars, and internal services. VMware AirWatch MDM was selected to help address these mobility and security challenges.

With VMware AirWatch, Cuatrecasas implemented mobile device management, Secure Email Gateway, VPN, and ActiveSync support, along with certificate-based network access and password protection. The firm said implementation took just three days, using Apple Configurator to simplify setup during the move from a previous MDM provider. As a result, Cuatrecasas was able to securely enable mobile work, reduce implementation costs, improve productivity, and give attorneys the flexibility to work from anywhere on the device of their choice.
